Connect with Ethernet
To use this product with a wired LAN, connect the PC or tablet to the network.
Check the IP address assigned to this product connected via wired LAN.
Before Use: Check the Following
- Dedicated app is required to check the IP address.
For iOS and Android, install Star Quick Setup Utility.
For Windows, download Star Windows Software and install it to your host device.

Check the information required for connection from the Product Information Label temporarily attached to the bottom of the product, or from the ID label.

Prepare for device connection
The connection method varies depending on the operating system of the device you are using.

To configure the setting using an iOS device (iPad/iPhone), connect this product and iOS device to the same network (same segment).
Execute the following steps after connecting this product to the network and turning it on.
1. Prepare an iOS device
- Open the setting screen of the iOS device and turn Wi-Fi on.

Prepare to connect from an Android device
To configure the setting using an Android device, connect this product and Android device to the same network (same segment).
Execute the following steps after connecting this product to the network and turning it on.
1. Prepare an Android device
- Open [Settings] - [Network & Internet] - [Internet] screen on the Android device, and turn Wi-Fi on.

Prepare to connect from a Windows device
To configure settings, connect this product and the Windows PC or Windows tablet to the same network (same segment).
Execute the steps below after connecting this product to the network and turning it on.
1. Prepare a Windows device
- Click the network icon on the taskbar, and turn Wi-Fi on.
Go to next step:Check IP Address
Check IP address
Check the IP address allocated to this product from its Ethernet MAC address.
The check method varies depending on the operating system of the device you are using.
Check on iOS, Android device
Check on Windows device
Check on iOS, Android device
Start Star Quick Setup Utility.
Tap [Selected Device].
If a screen appears asking for permission to detect devices, tap [Allow].
From the MAC address (e.g., 00:11:62:XX:XX:XX) that you have confirmed in advance, check the IP address (e.g., 172.16.XXX.XXX)

If you continue to use the dedicated app to configure this product, tap the device.

Check on Windows device
Select [MCD10] from model selection, and click [Next＞].
Select [Ethernet]
, and click [Search Device]
.From the MAC address (e.g., 00:11:62:XX:XX:XX)
that you have confirmed in advance, check the IP address (e.g., 172.16.XXX.XXX).
If you continue to use the dedicated app to configure this product, click [Done].
