Release of Wireless Models for TSP100 Series Small Printers for Stores
Star Micronics Co., Ltd. announces the release of new wireless models for its TSP100 series Small Printers for stores. This series has sold over 3 million units worldwide, making it the best-selling printer line. The new models add wireless connectivity. (TSP143IV-UEWB for receipt paper, TSP143IV-UEWBSK for linerless sticky labels)
Launched in 2022, the TSP100IV supports dual interfaces (USB and LAN) and 3-inch thermal paper.
The series has been particularly well-received with a stylish appearance, compact footprint, and cloud communication function in the mPOS (*1) market.
Recognizing the growing demand for versatile connectivity options in diverse store environments, Star Micronics has expanded the lineup with these new models. In addition to the existing USB and LAN interfaces, these models offer integrated wireless LAN (*2) and Bluetooth® (*3) connectivity, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices and systems.

Four Communication Interfaces (wireless LAN / Bluetooth® / USB / LAN)
Provides exceptional flexibility and convenience for various POS systems and eliminates the need for separate inventory for different interfaces, streamlining stock management. The wireless interfaces support the latest standards, ensuring stable and reliable communication.
Easy Setup
By using the Star Quick Setup Utility™, a setup application compatible with iOS(*4) and Android™, simplifies the wireless LAN setup process that is often considered complicated in stores. Users can easily complete the setup by simply following on-screen instructions and bringing their mobile device close to the printer.
Support for New Cloud Printing Communication Protocol
The TSP100IV series features Star Micronics’ CloudPRNT®, which enables direct printing from cloud servers to the printer. In addition to the existing HTTP protocol, these new models also support MQTT protocol, enabling faster printer control from the cloud server.
Eco-Friendly Products
Star Micronics is committed to environmental responsibility. These new models are packaged using plastic-free materials, and the individual box size has been reduced by approximately 30% compared to previous models, improving transportation efficiency. Furthermore, the printers are compatible with nonchemical eco-friendly paper, ensuring high-quality printing while minimizing environmental impact.
