Star WebPRNT and Bluetooth Printers are Adopted by RECRUIT LIFESTYLE for their New Cloud Service

Star Micronics Co., Ltd. is proud to announce that Star WebPRNT^※1 and Bluetooth printers are adopted for the "SALON BOARD^※2", the cloud reservation managing system released by RECRUIT LIFESTYLE CO., LTD.

The "SALON BOARD" is the cloud reservation managing system provided free of charge for hair salons participating in "Hot Pepper Beauty", the largest hair salon & beauty salon reservation site produced by RECRUIT LIFESTYLE. Since opened in June, 2012, more than 10,000 salons are using this system. In May, 2014, the accounting management function was added in collaboration with the "AirRegi", the free POS application. It will remove customer’s inconvenience of salon’s operation dramatically.

Star WebPRNT is the software developed by Star Micronics, which enables direct print from the Cloud/Web application and this time it is adopted for the "SALON BOARD". Star WebPRNT is an innovative technology for users who develop Web-based POS register applications for example. It enables programming for printing using the mark-up languages (HTML/XML). With the "SALON BOARD", customers can use their PCs and iPad^※3 connected to the internet as a register. When using the Star WebPRNT, they can print receipts directly from the Web browser. The compact desktop printer "TSP654II" and the mobile printer "SM-S210I" support Bluetooth connection and they are the industry’s first printers which enable direct printing from the Web application^※4.
