“AsuraCPRNTTM” Linux OS Platform with 7-inch LCD Touch Screen and 3-inch Thermal Printer
Star Micronics Co., Ltd. is proud to announce the new release of the interactive communication platform and printer, the “AsuraCPRNTTM” which can provide thousands of applications and hundreds of solutions.
The AsuraCPRNT is a powerful, feature rich interactive communication platform with an integrated printer and 7-inch touch screen. The AsuraCPRNT’s computing power offers the capability to display and audio-visual messages on its own screen and external digital signage. The AsuraCPRNT also has the ability to drive applications and web content to other digital devices such as customer’s smart phones, merchant tablets and store kiosks. Star will open the special SDK website for the application developer for the AsuraCPRNT to support their development of high quality applications.
The AsuraCPRNT is available with optional integrated MSR and Barcode reader, and has been optimized to support connection of external peripherals.
Star is planning to start selling the AsuraCPRNT in May, 2013 and sales target in next 3 years is total 50,000 units around the world.
Star will exhibit the “AsuraCPRNT” at “RETAILTECH JAPAN” that will be held at Tokyo International Exhibition Center for 4 days from March 5 to March 8, 2013. We look forward to your visit.
