Cannot establish USB connection

The USB cable connection method depends on the operating system of the device (PC/smartphone/tablet) you are using. Check and make sure that the cable is properly set.

  • It also may mean that the connector is loose. Confirm that both the USB cable for the printer and device to be connected (PC/smartphone/tablet) are securely connected.
  • Since the USB cable does not have a structure that secures the connector, make sure to secure the cable using the cable hook after connecting the cable.
  • The USB cable may also be disconnected. If the connection is not established even after reconnecting, try connecting with a different cable.
Connect USB Cable

If the USB cable is connected and the Windows driver is not installed, the operating system may not properly recognize the printer.

If a USB cable was connected before installing the Windows driver and the printer queue could not be created, remove the USB cable, install the Windows driver and then reconnect the USB cable.

This machine provides the de-curl function to correct curls generated in thermal paper roll. The de-curl mechanism is always running during paper feeding.

  • However, this function cannot remove curls completely.
  • A receipt may be slightly folded near the top depending on the time in which receipt paper is left during the period from when a receipt is printed until the next one.
  • The de-curl effect varies depending on the paper you use or your environment.
  • Depending on the type or remaining amount of thermal paper roll, a receipt may be warped in a direction opposite to the normal direction by the de-curl function.
