Ellipsize type if the text exceeds the number of characters to print. It if ignored if the text does not exceed the number of characters to print.

Start	Cut off the beginning characters and add the ellipsis (…)
Middle	Cut off the center characters and add the ellipsis (…)
End	Cut off the tail characters and add the ellipsis (…)
